Christmas Trees Look out for five Christmas trees in different spots: Plaza de la Marina, Plaza de la Constitución (you can go inside this one), Plaza del Obispo (glowing next to the Cathedral), Plaza de Enrique García Herrera, and in Huelin Park by the lake.
Nativity Scenes in Málaga Málaga has over 60 Nativity scenes, and you can find them all with a map from the tourist office. Some notable ones are at the Cathedral, Cofradía de Estudiantes, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Diputación, and Archivo Municipal.
Christmas Markets in Málaga Don't miss the Christmas markets! Paseo de Parque has stalls open every day from noon to 8:00 pm. Check out the Muelle Uno Arts and Crafts Market on Sundays in December from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Muelle Uno Christmas market is open in front of the Pompidou Centre from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm until January 10th.
Christmas Light and Sound Show Enjoy the spectacular light and sound show on Calle Larios three times a day at 6:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:00 pm (except on December 24th and 31st). They'll be playing the classic 'Jingle Bells.'
Drone Light Shows After the success of 2022, get ready for mesmerizing drone and light shows visible from different parts of the city, including the Palmeral de las Sorpresas, Plaza de la Marina, Muelle Uno, and Gibralfaro. Dates and times for the shows in 2023 are yet to be confirmed.
Video Mapping From November 27th to January 4th (except on December 24th and 31st), the Málaga Cathedral tower will light up with lasers, showcasing Christmas themes specific to Málaga. Catch the laser video-mapping show at 6:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:00 pm.
